Things to Do/See:
Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
By far the absolute best dog park that I have ever been to! I'm not a huge fan of dog parks in general, but this one is a MUST! NOTE: IT IS NOT FULLY FENCED IN, so please, for the safety of your dog, make sure that you can recall him/her back and that he/she is friendly with other dogs. That being said, if your dog likes the water, this is a must! It is about a 1/4 -1/2 mile walk, then into the sand, where the dogs can swim in the Mississippi River! This is right by the Minnehaha Regional Park, so if you are in the area, it is a great place for your dog to cool off.
(I kept her on leash until I got a good understanding of where the park was and the layout in case she ran off playing with another dog- this park is MUCH larger than what I'm used to).

Lodging/Stay:
Minneapolis KOA: We stayed at the KOA this time and went camping- great KOA campsite for both campers and tents. We did not have time to explore the amenities there.
Food/Drink: (tons of food/drink in the area to choose from)
Bottoms up! : Tons of beers/wine to try with a pour your own feature. You buy a wristband and can try as many as you want. You are charged by the ounce. They also have food.
The Eatery: Great "take out" kind of food and tacos, you can sit outside and by the Minnehanha Falls.
