GET IN
A ROUTINE

Get up early, and get in a routine; it is better for you, and for the dog.  Ours was shower, change, feed pup, pack up, have breakfast, quick walk for the dog, and in the car.  Fill up with gas and purchase a gallon of water and coffee at the gas station.

PLANNING YOUR TRIP

Have a written list of all of your locations, the possible places of stay, (weather permitting), their phone numbers, and what attractions you plan to do/see there.  If it's a road trip, be sure to bring a tire gauge to chek the air and oil for the car, and always have water with you.

Also, make sure you don't end up like Valentina and know the rules/laws of the state that you're in.
